Comments: Outstanding and fantastic are only two of the superlatives for this semi-rare conifer! Pinus contorta 'Taylor's Sunburst' has golden yellow new candles emerging in Spring. The bright new growth then shifts to a mellow creamy yellow, lasting up to 6 weeks; finally becoming a rich green for summer through fall and winter. The small red cones privide a striking contrast. Introduced by Alan Taylor, who found it high in the Colorado Rockies. This plant will make a nice foundation plant, or a patio or container plant.
